Nothing really to say today cause I am not feeling well, so I am sending these flowers from me to me....."Oh Thank You, Me....this makes me feel so much better...." (*cough, cough*).....

And here are a few more..... Oh I just love love love this arrangement above, but you already know that, don't you?....And you haven't seen the last of this, believe me.....
Oh, I think I am going to call up that brilliant florist tomorrow and get me a three dimensional arrangement....It's time. And I need it. And if I am lucky, maybe there will be a beautiful flower like this one above....So lush and full and such a gorgeous color...Mmmmm, I'm starting to feel better already....

The other possibility is that I can just look at some of the flowers from my garden...flowers one would never find in a 'floral arrangement'....like these, below..... Such delicate little complex flowers on this beautiful succulent---a succulent that grows like a weed, but isn't one, that's for sure....

And then these lovely flowers below.... I love these fat little colorful flowers...they are on a succulent, too, but a totally different kind of succulent than that other one....they have a soft fuzzy outerness...if you didn't know that these were flowers, well, you would never guess that that is what they are.....

And this last picture below....these little flowers are so tiny that this whole entire cluster isn't even an inch across....And these sweet itty bitty flowers are from another very beautiful succulant...I'll show you the plants another time when I am feeling better....For now...'nite 'nite, my dears......

More To Come.....

So sorry you are not feeling well. I really do hope you feel better soon. Isn't it amazing how therapeutic nature can be? I hope Sweetie is applying feline therapy in huge doses!

Those flowers are simply gorgeous and your pictures of them are as wonderful as ever. If I knew where you lived I would send you some flowers but for now, please assume that the next flower that opens in your fabulous garden carries lots of well wishes from me.

Take care my friend!

The flowers are beautiful, Naomi. Very formal looking, they are. I hope you feel better soon. This is bad time of year to be sick--but I guess there really aren't any good times to be sick.

Geeze, I go away, come back and find out you're not feeling well. We can't be having that! I just wanted to touch base, as I'm slowly making my way back to the world of blogging since my return from Paris.
I'm very sorry to hear you're not up to par. I hope all those gorgeous flowers help. Please know I'm thinking of you, Naomi and I'll be back very soon to get caught up.

Consider this a glorious bo-kay of the very best the virtual flower market (the one that used to be on Melrose and La Cienega?) has to offer! I hope you feel better, and are back up to par quickly.

PS-It seems to me you were feeling poorly last year at this time. Could it be a particular fungus, bacteria or virus that proliferates in conjunction with certain weather or pollen? (Old science buffs never die, they just try to figure things out)

My apologies for the name mixup, Naomi. It's weird but I was so sure of the name that I didn't bother to look it up. I'm so bad with names I should have never done that--lots of experience should have been my guide to ALWAYS looking up pet names. He does have a little bit of a "Snowball" look tho. At least to me.

I hope you feel better!

I love all the flower photos of course too. I'm sorry you are not feeling well. Do take care of yourself and I hope you get well real soon!! xxoxx

Naomi, thanks for the visit. I hope you are beginning to feel better.

No, my daughter does not have what you have. The docs did tell us that was a possibility, as was repeated pneumonia, but luckily, she never had it again. She is now 35 and is very healthy, except for an occasinal sinus infection. We are blessed to have her in our lives.

I'm so sorry to hear you are poorly.

Let Sweetie look after you as only a feline can...

And when you're feeling a bit better, order Benny and Joon - it'll definitely help...... :-)

I do hope you are feeling better very soon. I don't know about California, but around here the pollen counts are on the rise and until the rain comes through... there is much sneezing going on.

These are ALL gorgeous pictures and, yes, it would be lovely to have another arrangement by this florist. He is extremely talented and uses such unusual flowers... still can't get over the cabbage.

I tell you, straight away from the bottom of my heart:
These flowers you are sending: Can you ever imagine how they warm an old Viking up in the North?
Here, the absolutely first flowers opend up, shy and scared, yellow and beautiful against the wintersoil, and said: Hello, can we come out. The Sun is shining and we want to come out. Can you talk to us?

Yes we did. I'll post them Thursday. They are so tiny - and afraid of cold nights.

And you, you have so much to tell and give. As was told to Marie in Portland (OR), when she felt life was not wort to live. She lived to 2 months before 100.

Best wishes from the other side of the old Pond;)

hugs from the cats and all of us

For now I want to thank you for your visit and nice comment about my Lichen's post. I update it just now with a doubt about one species: is it Lichen or Fungi? And I put also information about dye things with lichen.

A big hug to you!

Naomi,

Something is wrong with the comment link in your newest post. It says that it isn't on the blogger server and the address that appears is different than the normal Blogger comments.

So, this is about that post. I don't get Showtime or HBO but it seems like every cable channel is advertising on all the other cable channels these days. Sometimes I'm not sure which one I've landed on during one of these things.

My pet peeve about TV in general now is that they never run a season from start to finish. When I was younger the seasons were longer and they ran the shows in consecutive order. Then in the summer they ran the re-runs if you missed any. Now they run two or three new episodes, then go back to some from last year or the first of the season and you can't follow any of the story. Some run all the old episodes before the new one, some don't and most of the time it is confusing and I'd rather just turn it off. It almost makes the soap operas easier to handle.... I did say ALMOST!
