Hi, Naomi Dear,

One of my favorites is Joy to the World, (partly because I can belt it out)

but, the words from "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas" :

Faithful friends who are dear to us
gather near to us once more---

is pretty spectacular. thanks for recalling it for all of us.

Loads of love,

Cousin Carol

Merry Christmas - and you already have a good choice of song. Another favourite for me would be 'Silent Night'/'Stille Nacht'.

Have a great one!

I can't possibly think of a favorite Christmas song.
There are so many that I really like so much from Joy to the World to Winter Wonderland to Carol of the Bells to Mary Did You Know...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the photo of Sweetie in the calendar you sent. What a terrific December photo this is!

I'm at my parents now. We got into San Fran last night, and now we are settled here for a nice holiday visit.
Talk to you soon.

A very merry and special Christmas to you, Naomi.

To each of us who reads your blog, YOU are the best Christmas present ever-an antidote for all the base and mean-spirited goings-on we hear of on the news.

For Sweetie, I send the following:

"Salmon and tuna
and gourmet buffet

cuddling with mommie
and snoozng all day

Meowing and purrring
and listening when she sings

These are a few of his favorite things"

Merry Christmas to you! I love all Christmas music. But there are a couple arrangements that make my heart open wide. One is the duet with Bing Corsby singing Little Drummer Boy while David Bowie overlays Peace of Earth. Celine Dion singing Oh, Holy Night and Michael Buble had a Christmas CD my mother-in-law enjoyed so much we left it with her- we listen to it at her house on Christmas Eve now. And anything sung with friends.

Wonderful COLORFUL interesting page. MY old time favorite Christmas song is Little Drummer Boy. I am for some reason so moved by that song. Also this year I have listened more closely to the Christmas Waltz, my mom's favorite song, she died this year and I am so glad I asked her last year "MOM, what is your favorite Christmas Carol".

My new favorite Christmas song is Christmas Canon. Just something moves me.

Thanks for your support on the new blog!

Have a wonderful Holiday!

I love so many Christmas songs, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be "Come Home For Christmas" by The Platters. It seems to evoke every emotion I have when I hear it. Thanks for all the Christmas pics and have a warm and wonderful Christmas.

That's great! I started singing the song the minute I saw the lyrics. Thanks. I'll try to get my Christmas post up later today. So much to do still! A very happy holiday to you Miss Naomi. I'm not sure which holiday you celebrate, so "happy holidays" covers it all. May the coming New Year be a wonderful year for you and all those you hold dear.

My favorite carol will always be O HOLY NIGHT. I was an angel in a high school play and that was my cue to come on stage. It was magical. I felt as though I had stepped back in time and was visiting the Christ Child in Bethlehem.

Reality check: I was never an angel in real life and I drove the nuns crazy with my attitude. All these years later, I wonder if that is why they gave me the part.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity for a little early Christmas Day reminiscing.

You did a great job with this....as I was reading it, I could HEAR the song in my head. Very clever on your part.
And my favorite Christmas song is The Little Drummer Boy. I just LOVE it and always will, due to a very special girlfriend I'd had since 8th grade and she passed away at age 38 from pancreatic cancer. I was visiting her at her home the week before Christmas and that song got stuck on the record player, playing over and over and I've always associated it with her and our last Christmas together.
