happy holidays to all!

My little Patio, at Twilight........two additions---The little tree I mentioned and a few more Poinsettias.....That's it for the Front Door Entry.......The "star" at the top of my little tree is shaped rather like a Jewish Star.....Well, Hanukkah began on the 20th So....here is a nod to both Holidays......A Very Very Happy Hanukkah and a Very Very Merry Christmas to you all.........! And, I now have two other Santa's sitting inside my house.....Here's one, below....... And below, again....here is the other one......He actually lights up and moves and plays a song....! I think it is appropriate that he is standing next to my little white, Baby Grand Electric Piano......And one last photo.....my 'display' as you enter my front door....... So......I wish each and every one of you a Very Merry Christmas......May you enjoy all the Joys of the Season and have a Peaceful Healthy Happy New Year, too.....

More To Come..........

Note: My dear little "Sweetie" is in the Hospital and will be operated on tomorrow......Please keep him in your thoughts and your Prayers. I pray he comes through this with flying colors....It is quite a serious surgery. I'm trying to stay as positive as possible and I would dearly appreciate any and all good thoughts coming this way for my 'dearest'......

Naomi, I am sorry to hear about "Sweetie". He is definitely in my prayers.

I sent you an e-mail...you were in my dreams last night. You were performing in a play and I was on the front row. The dream was in color. Like many dreams, it was a mish mash of time...all of the actors were dressed as if from the 70's, but there I was all excited about meeting you to tell you that I loved your blog in 2011. Funny how dreams are. So nice to see you, if only in my dreams :)

Our holidays are low key and that's just fine.

I hope that Sweetie pulls through and the two of you have a magnificent 2012. 2012? Where does the time go.

Love you,
Stan
XOXO

PS. I finally checked out "Please Give", with your friend, Annie. Will watch it this weekend.

Hi Naomi,

I hope that 'Sweetie's' operation went well and that she will be back home with you soon, making a complete recovery.

I love your singing Santa, although after beng surrounded by them for the last three weeks in the charity shop where I volunteer, we definitely won't be having one at home!

I also love Poinsettia plants, particularly the traditional red colour, although there are so many different colour variations these days.

Unfortunately they don't thrive well in our UK centrally heated houses, particularly anywhere near gas heating, which can often be fatal for them. We have often tried to keep them from year to year, however the flower bracts never show colour again after the first year, so it really isn't worth the effort.

It always seemed so surreal to see them growing outdoors in Florida and I was always envious.

Your decorations are looking good and I would like to wish you all the happiness of the season and best wishes for 2012.

Yvonne

Oh everything looks great! I love the red against the white. Can you still get in and out of your door! :D

I like the star on top of the tree too.

I think your first Father Christmas inside your house maybe the same or very similar to ours! I made some glasses for mine. :D

Aww that's such a cute photo of Sweetie. I hope she's out and well very very soon. I hope the operation goes well tomorrow. Thinking of you. xx

Darling Sweetie is in my prayers and I'll give him a kiss before bed-time - he's sitting right behind me.
You decor is SO pretty. I must try to get a reindeer next year and those are the nicest Santas I've seen.
All best wishes for all next year.

Your holiday decor is gorgeous. I couldn't let Christmas go by without wishing you a joyous season and Merry Christmas!

I'm glad you did a critique on the show Boss, since I was wondering if it was any good. I've gotten into the new British series Downton Abbey, and I am eager for the second season. I also love the show Doc Marten which is on Netflix if you have that.

I hope and pray that Sweetie came through the surgery and is recovering well. I was sad to read that he was having health problems requiring a serious surgery. I know this must be very worrisome for you.

Our family has been very busy lately. Keith, Taylor, and I have not been home since Nov 4th when we left for London for Taylor's tour. We got back to San Fran just before Christmas, and we are all at my parents' house to celebrate the holidays. Courtney is working two jobs in southern CA, one as an editor at Sunny Boy Entertainment and the other as a writer and producer of a small TV show called Travel With Spirit. She loves working and living in the LA area.

I send you lots of loving best wishes for a healthy and happy 2012. You are such a dear lady, whom I'm go glad to know. I have not kept up with blogging, obviously, but I think of you often. Blessings on you.
