nada-nothing-zero

Oh Lordy....I have nothing to say. Zilch. Zero. Nada. Life is overwhelming these days......So, I think I will share a video with you that means a lot to me. I need to be inspired again....maybe this will do it....This is from "Sunday In The Park With George"(1984), the beautiful musical that Stephen Sondheim wrote about the great Artist, George Seurat....This was sung at Sondheim's 80th Birthday Celebration at Lincoln Center in March 2010, by Original Cast Members, Mandy Patankin and Bernadette Peters.....Stunningly Beautiful....... "......Anything you do, let it come from you, then it will be new.....Give Us More To See......". Oh, My God...Yes! And here is the same song 'back in the day'...1984-85.....Perfection!

Oh, Oh, Ohhhhh, Yes.
I was younger.....They were younger.....And the message of this song for any Artist?......Utterly Timeless..............

More To Come..........

Mandy Patankin is one of the most underrated actors around, I think. He shows up, performs magnificently, every single time.

Cheers.

Dear Naomi,
I will return again to see the videos, because just now my connection is very slow...
I hope your Sunday had been very pleasant.
See you soon.
Many hugs!

Beautiful performances with great lyrics.

Sometimes when life is overwhelming it's so hard to be inspired and creative. I'm going through a similar thing at the moment too. Life just gets so busy and hectic to get your thoughts and ideas together. I understand.

I hope things improve for you soon Naomi. :)

Absolutely thrilling and how great to see the two videos together.
This is something that the American theatre excel at IMO.
Thank you Naomi.

Gotta come back to listen. Don't want to wake Joe who went to bed early cause he's on babysitting duty starting early in the morning. When I have nothing to say I just post a picture and let it speak for me. I know your inspiration will return, as sure as the tide comes in.

Beautiful. I feel that way a lot where I just don't have anything to say. Remembering a song and finding a video like that was a great way to get past such a time. He was one of the best parts of Princess Bride.

Wishing you a pleasant week ahead.

Well sometimes that happens, you just have nothing to say. I have lots to share but no time to post. I might get a post in today, but not sure I'll have enough time. The holidays from November to December have a way of sucking all my time.

I can relate. Love those actors, what gets me is the mics they all must use nowadays. I hate to see them. How DID we survive without them? (Very well, me thinks)

25 years years between videos and Bernadette looks virtually the same.

I go into the desert for inspiration. Sometimes at night and sometimes for a full moon hike.

It's been raining in Phoenix for two days....feels like Jersey.

I am finally getting into the holidays. They will be very low key this year just resting around the house.

Happy Holidays, Naomi.

Thanks Naomi, I really enjoyed that. Lyrics still reign in the theater.
So very sorry you are feeling out of sorts and hope you are feeling much better soon.
Thank you for cheering me up when I was puny.

Mandy Patankin has a lovely voice, and Bernadette Peter's voice has a quality that "sings."
Thanks for this, Naomi. Intense days, these.

I enjoyed these clips. I have always enjoyed watching Bernadette Peters – she is talented. I have not been to the theatre for a while and miss it. We have been going to the opera and that is not quite the same.
