an anniversary.....

It's been over a month since I last posted anything here on my blog.
I'm still struggling with all of my Lung Issues----and I have come to realize that this is my life now.
I've always known that this disease was not going to get better----that there is no cure.
And now, certain aspects of the problems have gotten worse. And with that, as mentioned in my last post, my energy level is just crap.
The Kleenex company should be very happy having me as a customer.....
So.....
not a whole lot to say here, except,
I'm doing the best I can, and that's all
any of us can do.

One thing that has happened, which is a rather exciting milestone---
I just celebrated---if you can call it that----
my 9th Blog Anniversary.

It just doesn't seem possible that nine years have gone by since starting to blog.....
One of the great things about blogging has been all the truly wonderful dear sweet people I have met from all over the world----all of whom I would never have met if I had NOT started blogging
Amazing!
Many of you are long time blog buddies---almost from the very beginning.
That's amazing too, considering so very many people who were blogging back then, aren't blogging anymore.
And, even more amazing is----
I have actually met some of you,
"In Person".
From as far away as New Zealand, and as close as Glendale, CA., (for any of you who are familiar with the Greater Los Angeles area) and from all kinds of wonderful places around the U.S and even from the beautiful U.K.
This is one of the great bonuses of blogging and the incredible shrinking world due to the fantastic age we live in!

And, some more big news......
This post today, is my 1001 post.

I know many many people have posted a lot more than me, but I was kind of thrilled and overwhelmed when I realized that I had actually made it to 1001 posts!
I don't really have anything else of any consequence to report or share, except to say I will try to continue blogging when I can and will continue to visit all of you wonderful people when I can, as well.

And, Oh yes, we have been having a horrendous heat wave here and I hope it lets up soon---it has been going on for a very long time and it really doesn't help my Health Issues one bit---so I'm ready for some nice cool weather, and we could really use some rain to,
Dear God!

I send all of you my love and I thank each and every one of you for all your loving and supportive words....
It means more to me than you will ever know.

More To Come........

Congratulations! 9 years. 1001 posts. Incredible stories. Good friends. So much to celebrate!

I'm very behind on posting anything on my blog. Work for the past several months has been overwhelming but I hope to get back in the swing soon. Meanwhile I enjoy keeping up with blog friends like you.

Nine years and 1001 posts is definitely an important milestone to celebrate, Naomi! I agree, blogging is fascinating, we get to learn about other people, their cultures, their surroundings, their families, their joys and their tragedies, their successes and their failures. I've been away for a week or so, but I'll be posting some wonderful pictures of St Johns Newfoundland in a few days.... so keep tuned in.
So sorry about your health issues, I'm sending you some big hugs!

Happy Blogiversery Naomi!! Nine years is impressive.
Blogging does open the world doesn't it? We get to meet people we would normally never share a hello with.
I am so sorry you all are having such brutal weather and hope you get a break soon. Maybe then, you will feel a bit better. Guess I will pray for rain and cool weather in the Hills.
What a treat to see Sweetie's beautiful face and eyes again.
Post when you can, we will be here. Arkansas hugs on the way.

Wow, happy blogging anniversary, for some reason I thought you had been blogging for much longer. And writing so many fantastic blog posts is a real achievement and deserves a big celebration.

I've loved getting to know you through your blog and the comments you leave on mine and other peoples too. I think it's fair to see we all love you loads, and for that very reason hate to hear that you are so unwell.

I hope to read many many more of your posts in the years to come.

I send you warm and wonderful blog anniversary and post wishes! I don't know that I'd even heard of blogs nine years ago! I am most impressed!

I send you many wishes for comfort and relief with your lung issues. I know that we share the same disease and while right now I'm in a very good period, I follow your journey with more than a general interest -- both a bit selfishly and because I do know from my bad times how very challenging it can be. I'll always look for your new posts.

Hang in there, my friend.

Happy Blogaversary, Naomi. Hope you are feeling better. I, too, have a progressive lung problem (not complaining tho) and so I understand the lack of energy. One foot in front of the other?? Well, today yes, tomorrow, maybe. But I still sit in front of my computer and type. So don't give it up...I love coming here and reading about all your parties, etc. I wish you a feel-good day! xoxo

Wow - that's a lot of posts! I'm a relative newcomer to your blog, but am glad I found it and love when you come by my blog. I always feel so honored when you do. Your fun pool playing photo drew me in a couple of years ago.

I'll have to go back and read some of your older posts sometime. I wish you a good day today and wish I could send you some kind of relief from discomfort. But I can send virtual hugs! (((HUGS!)))

I was happy to see a new post from you! And am always thrilled to say I am one of the lucky ones who has gotten to meet you in person! I consider it a great accomplishment!

I'm sad to hear of your struggling health problems. You've dealt with those dang lung troubles for so long. I'm still inspired by your loving, determined nature & spunk. You meet life head on & roll with the punches.

Blessings my dear friend. I wish you much beauty, joy, love, & many good days ahead of breathing easier & feeling more energetic. As for the bad days... Screw em!!! Much Love, Jamie Dawn

Well, 1,001 posts is quite an achievement, my dear friend. You are one of the treats that come from blogging and yes, I remember back in the day when this was all new to us and how exciting it was to read blogs and comments from those in all parts of the world; like-minded kindred spirits everywhere with the click of a button. Isn't it great?

I really hope you have much better days ahead. Hopefully, when the cool weather arrives you will breathe easier and we'll see more posts from you. It's always a pleasure to visit you and see you've written something new and of course, we all love your stories and photos that go with them. I treasure your blog and hope you never take it down.

All the best to you, my dear Naomi, and I wish you much love...from Miami. ♥
